Blighted
It's official...the D Street Hotel and a large chunk of the Near South Neighborhood is considered a blighted area.
We didn't need an official notice. We've known for quite some time. We've seen and heard it all.....crackheads, crackheads and more crackheads, prostitutes, gun fire, dog fights, six point-blank handgun shots to the chest, one suspicious death (trying to cut off house arrest ankle bracelet and inadvertently slicing femoral artery and bleeding to death), numerous death threats (not to us), and a lot of solicitation for money, drugs, food, beer, cigarettes and sex. The house even got shot last year.
Maybe we'll be able to get some of that stim $.

You know how when you're all wasted...
some people want to open a bar? Well during an exceptional fireside bourbon infused discussion at Frostbike, a colleague and I decided that we were going to start a company called "Said and Done Ent." that's sole purpose is to make decisions for other bike company's. If there isn't a future in this for me, I don't know where there is.

In Rainbows Animations
In March 2008, aniBoom and Radiohead's TBD Records held a contest inviting fans and animators to make a video for any song on the album "In Rainbows".

Just got back from the t. o' Cali. Worked with these dudes for a TV spot. I kept saying let's move in tighter, these guy have great smiles, the producer kept saying we need a full body shot, I said I wanna see their eyes, tighter.

Is it April yet?
well, we could drive around LA all day sitting in traffic, trying to find a spot to skate...OR, we could just drive up to Ojai and go fishing!!! Fishing it is! (not that any of us know anything about fishing but WTF not right?)
Manderson, five foot cast out first try, no big deal.
Right before we were about to call it quits wouldn't you know it but Sean's line was going nuts when and he reeled in this monster.
and then a few seconds later this HUGE, HUGE fish (wayyy bigger than Sean's) bit my line.
Sorry Manderson---maybe next time!
We should not go skating more often.
