I visited my local banker yesterday. I'm getting married soon so we opened a joint checking accnt. I applied for an increase in a personal line of credit to cover wedding expenses, honeymoon, titanium bike parts, penile implants, etc. I've never defaulted or missed a payment on my mortage, credit cards, school loans, three car loans. FICO rating: 900+ (perfect).
Declined.
