Guitar Ted at Platte River -- 4pm Friday -- Be There...

Guitar Ted and I will be at the Wild Turkey lot of Platte River State Park at 4pm Friday afternoon for anyone who'd like to join us. It looks like it's going to be an awesome afternoon!

For those of you who don't know, Guitar Ted is the promoter of the legendary TransIowa gravel grinder and the Big Wheeled Ballyhoo, and publisher of the www.twentynineinches.com, Guitar Ted Productions, The Cyclist and other cycling-oriented Web and blog sites. He's a super cool guy and this is a fun opportunity to show him one of our best local trails.

I hope you'll join us.

New Nebraska Tourism Podcasts

Nebraska's Byways podcast host, Rick Folten talks about the awesome mountain biking out in western Nebraska at Chadron State Park in Nebraska Tourism's new "385 - Gold Rush Byway" podcast. When he says it's good, he's not joking. If you've never checked out the northwest corner of the state, you owe it to yourself to get up there and hit the trails. Nebraska's best and most exclusive singletrack awaits.

Check out all the 2009 Nebraska's Byways podcasts.

Kansas City hotshoe Jason Gaikowski's got a new blog — the spoke pony express — and he's already populated it with plenty of good content. Czech it out when you get a sec.
Have a gr8 weekend. Wilderness was wet on the bike side last night. Should be good by Sunday ... maybe tomorrow night.
Cheers,
