Not bad for a 15 year old

Just got back from co-teaching a photo workshop at Woodward East Skate Camp.
My son Sage was skating and taking a video workshop from Ty Evans. Here's the video that Sage made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olkPZLkRgiM&feature=related

1/2 frame grazing on flickr

I've always liked my $5 flea market half frame camera. I've always wanted a really nice one, but my crappy little fixed lens version is fine. There must be a group for everything on flickr, but of course there is a group(s) dedicated to these cameras. hours of lost time awaits!

Lincoln Continental Road Journal

"We are in The Coffee House in Lincoln, Nebraska, in our kit. It’s 6:30 am and still dark outside.
"It’s also just begun to rain — harder.
"

Read the rest of Daniel Wakefield Pasley's road journal from Rapha's Lincoln-to-Ponca ride — complete with a short film and photos of our wet-then-dry-then-very-long day — at the Rapha web site.

Hello, Problemo

Looks like I pulled a fast one on -kw and talked him into letting me post on his blog, so I suppose I should introduce myself.

Name's Andy and I currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Originally from a small town in West Virginia, but I hope my inner hick doesn't show too much in my postings. I like to shoot photographs of people riding skateboards and currently run an online skate zine called theProgram, which you can view at theprogramzine.com. I have 3 dogs and a wife and I'm in grad school for Clinical Psych, just in case I need a real job at some point. I'm guessing you're not really that interested in all of that stuff, so I guess I'll just post a photo that I shot recently.

Corey Fishes

Corey Arnold is a photographer and Alaskan commercial fisherman. During the winter, he can be found aboard the F/V Rollo in the Bering Sea and more recently catching salmon in Bristol Bay. The off season is filled with travel, gallery exhibitions, magazine and ad photography assignments with a bit of backyard gardening, cat maintenance, and skateboarding in Portland, Oregon. He is currently working on a life long project entitled "Fish-Work" which chronicles the commercial fishing lifestyle throughout the world.

So, If you happen to be lucky enough to be in NYC between now and April 4th you can go look at his Solo Show at Sarah Tecchia Roma.

JGB Pro Model

Last week, I was lucky enough to help Mumble — along with George Powell and Stevie Caballero — present J Grant Brittain with his first pro model skateboard.

Powell stepped up and made a run of 99 boards (graphic and shape based on their classic Ray Bones Rodriguez board), 97 of which are available for sale on the Skate One website. (Proceeds will go to Grind For Life.)
To find out more about Grant, check out the video interview at The Skateboard Mag or Club Mumble.
