Wainy Days
y'all know who David Wain is right? he had his grubby mitts all over the State, STELLA, Wet Hot American Summer, the TEN, and out in theaters right now, Role Models (which is a MUST SEE). Anyhow, hes about the most brilliant mind comedy has ever seen if you axe me, and trust me i know you didnt axe, but this is how the internet works, i get to say and do pretty much anything i want! and what i want to say is what i just said, and what i want to do it put you onto Wainy Days... a 26 part web series, i suggest spending your thanksgiving days off watching them all, each is about 4 minutes, so you can handle it foe-sho.

ONE MORE: Tonight 7.5pm Zen's Downtown Lincoln
So, this is the last of it... We had a blast at the last go around. It turned out to be $8 a pint, but the alcohol content on this business is higher that advertised... more like 14%... so you're getting quite the bang for you buck... this will be your last chance to try it on draft until next year, so don't miss out!

i'm not really into the whole ironical t-shirt scene, but i like this:
Inspired by this, of course.

brown shugga'
picked up this sweet, tasty sumbitch of a seasonal from lagunitas brewing company in petaluma, california. it weighs in at 9.1% abv, so it packs a punch, but tastes oh so good.
(if you're in denver, they have it at applejack's...who now accept credit cards...'bout time!)

Numerical Tuesdays; 1 + 1 = Oh Wow
Any day that I can claim to be closer to my favorite artist in the world, is a very good day. Recently I did a logo for Sam Spiegel's (aka Squeak E Clean) new venture, NASA (North America South America) and I found out today that Tom Waits did a little thing with NASA too. And Kool Keith is on it too! Hells yes. Check out the first cut from the NASA project, Spacious Thoughts.

i love projects...
butch and i moved the cabinet out to the garage from the basement yesterday. it's heavy and awkward. if you lay it down on it's narrow side it is almost as tall (because if it's width) as the space between the ceiling and the stairs. the height standing up isn't an issue when you have it laid down, but you can't get under it to get it up the stairs if you're the top guy. the bottom guy has to push and the top guy has to pull it about an inch over the nosing of the stairs before you get your feet caught. then the bottom guy can push it till it hits the next nosing.
once outside, i have it on a flatbed dolly. outside, i'll sand the son-of-a-bitch, then it'll go back downstairs for a few coats of water based furniture grade lacquer. once that's done, it's demo time, followed by installation.
Googol
"According to the story, Kasner asked his nephew Milton Sirotta, who was then 8 years old, what name he would give to a really large number, and "googol" was Milton's response. In the traditional American system for naming large numbers, the googol (1 followed by 100 zeroes) is equal to 10 duotrigintillion."

who's your big mama, sucka'?
You can probably guess where I'm at... hard at work in the basement, building a new bike!!! Pics to come as soon as she's done. I can hardly wait!!!
Thanks to Jason Boucher at Salsa Cycles for getting me on the fast-track to one of these hot new frames. I haven't seen too many people talking about their new Big Mamas yet, other than the lucky few who were on the Sol Sessions... ;-) Thanks again, my brother.
Have a great weekend!
