God Grew Tired Of Us
I hope this doc graces our theaters with its presence.
Here's the trailer for God Grew Tired of Us.
Skateboarding's Present Future
Just posted this up over at The Mag.
Feel free to read every single word.
"The Skateboard Mag contributing writer Rob Brink has posted the un-cut full-length interview he did with Nyjah Houston (from our newest issue #34) on his web site robbrink.com.
Rob says, 'Here’s the complete and unedited Nyjah Huston interview from my piece in this month’s issue of The Skateboard Mag. I spoke with his father after Nyjah and he had some cool stuff to say as well, so check that out at the end of the interview.'"

"That's only in the morning. You're supposed to be up and cooking breakfast or something by then."
Thanks, Huf

smoke ’em if you got ’em
So easy, even two cavemen can do it.
This was posted completely by coincidence on the same day that Hanna Barbera co-founder and legendary cartoonist William Hanna passed away. He was 90.
His work, including The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, and Scooby Doo, was and is amazing, superlative, and will be with us for a very long time.
RIP.
videos used to be great...
weather or not you are a fan of this band you gotta give it up for the vid. stunning.

Mud Bath!
You'll remember Brian Vernor from his Lincoln visit two winters ago to show his film Pure Sweet Hell.
Well he's been a busy guy since then, shooting at all the USGP cyclocross events this year.
He's having a show of 30-40 prints at the Cyclocross Nationals in Providence, Rhode Island the next couple weekends (Dec 9-17). If you're in the area, you have to go see his pics at The Hub Providence, a sweet community bike shop and cultural melting pot.

Subsidized Goth Studies, Or Whateverize
Seven very-deserving-of-our-suport state projects.
Plucked gingerly from Neatorama.

Hella Basu is the most O.G. style of original gangster.
Give us pieces.
Yanked (huh, huh) from the The Nonist. Get linky.

Unsafe At Any Speed
Seat belts, airbags, product labeling, nuclear safety.
Yeah, that all sounds unreasonable to me.
I'm Sorry
Screw Cingular.
But the ad agency they hired has made a pretty sweet commercial by spoofing the best Christmas movie ever.
Start with good material and it's hard to go wrong.

Punk's Still Dead
Mark F at Boing Boing was kind enough to unearth this amazing time capsule of punkers on parade.
It's hard to imagine this stuff never existing, but that's why it blew so many minds when it came out. Before this revolution, people were just cruising with Segar, Bad Co., or the Eagles.
Then everything went to hell ... thankfully.
If you don't know your past you can't know your future.

Mac Dopeness
Mac nerd rumor...
Mockup photos of the up and coming touch screen iPod AV.
So cool.
Apple also holds the patent to this touch screen technology that they hope to integrate in the near future.
So sweet.
And for dessert ...
After that fried Oreo, you're gonna need a refreshment.
"Balls of the batter are then deep-fried, ending up like ping-pong ball sized doughnuts which are then served in a cup, topped with Coca-Cola syrup, whipped cream, cinnamon sugar, and a cherry on the top.
Mmm, fried Coke.
