So I have complained about the bike parking situation at work here before. It got pretty insane with folks locking up to all sorts of things around the full bike rack. I was determined to take my case all the way. I went through 4 people till I found who to send my message to. I wrote out a manifesto that would make my college basic writing teacher shed a tear of joy. I got a response a few hours later:

I do not see any issues with purchasing another rack. I will check into this and get back to you. We will most likely purchase from CSI, so it could be a week or so.
Anyone need a pitch fork and 30 torches? I seem to not need them now ;)
