Might as well vote for The Skateboard Mag as many times as you can over at Next G's web poll.
We'll find out if you didn't.
Oh, and thanks for your support.

Moving Day
Two loads, $65 in gas, $15 in antifreeze, a flat tire, a thirty pack, then a twelve pack, three pizzas, two pair of gloves, three doughnuts, a bit of water, three Gatorades, and twelve hours later, four corners, three four-foot sections, the coping for the corners, and a bunch of framed-up flatbottom have found a new storage space.
Thanks to Phil, Jeff, Thad, Donk, Nic, Venom, Steve, Pat, Gersib, Wills, Greg, Scott, Miles, Cian, Adeline, and most of all Cheryl.
It was a big day, but you're all even bigger for being the tireless, selfless, and mostly thankless supporters of midwest skateboarding.

Heavy Lifting (on Saturday)
Moving some pretty big chunks of a ramp to my house tomorrow (Saturday), and I need help.
Thanks to Phil, Jeff, Mike, Steve, and some others we'll be fine getting it here, but once it's time to move it from the flatbed and into my backyard ... well, that's when we're going to need some strong backs.
If you're willing (and thirsty ... nudge, nudge) leave me a message here and I'll call you and let you know when we'll be doing the really heavy lifting.
Should be around lunch time.
Thanks!

Sam, I am
This, like the movie Snakes on a Plane, is either the best thing ever or the worst thing ever.
Hey, maybe it's both!

Getting At The Core
“I hate my boss. I hate the people that I work with. I hate my parents. I hate all these authoritave figures. I hate politicians. I hate people in government. I hate the police. And now I have a chance to be with a bunch of my own type of people, and I have a chance to go off.”
Sounds about right.

more, same, gooder bacon
Sunday morning and all its salty bacon-ness is almost here again.
Ride to Platte River State Park with us, why don't you?
Leaving at 5:00 am from my house and 5:15 am from 84th and MOPAC.
We'll ride at a moderate and comfortable pace (I think it's 30 miles from the trailhead to the park) and then get a couple laps in on the horse side of the park before the trails close at 9:00 am.
If you just want to drive out there, we should be on the trails by 7:30 am, Mark and Anne are already up there, and a good group of Omaha people usually show up, too. You'll have plenty of friends.
9:00 am is not only when the horse trails close, it's also when the breakfast buffet starts.
Then you can ride home or you hitch a ride.
Hope to see you there, somewhere, everywhere.

Easy Sell
I really do enjoy some of these new car commercials. So creative, so clever, so smart.
This one, for instance, really makes me feel good inside.

Minute By Minute
Gave Michael McDonald a ride from Gomez Art Supply to his new home at Precision Skateboards where he'll be living until he can get a ride to Steve's in Utah.
Drop by and say hi to Mr. McDonald when you get a chance.
