stripes and tires



I noticed the put a fresh coat of paint on the bike lanes downtown. It so fanchy.

Kit pointed out to me that I had my tires switched around on our last ride. For 3 months I had the big tire in back and the skinny up front and did not notice. Sigh...

    bike lane stripe = $2 - $4 per linear foot depending choice of materails thats about anywhere from 10 to 20 grand per mile.

    bike lane stenciled symbol = ~$140 each, typically installed at quarter mile intervals.

    does this level of subsidy compare to what government provides to the motoring public? = not even close ...
