Well, You flat landers will be getting a real NW style IPA coming soon. I just tried my "sample" (yeah... it's 3:00, who cares, it's Bend) of New Belgium's Ranger IPA and it is the real deal folks. It has that citrus aroma when you first open it and the mouth drying effect of 70 IBU's, but some how finishes clean. I'm not sure how long they worked on this one but I think they hit it right on the mark.

It's here already.
well... how do you like it?
i bought a sixer a few weeks ago. its pretty good. i've had better and i've had worse.
i like beer too
I also like the beers.
It's pretty mellow for an IPA... I'm not a fan as of yet, but I've only had one...
interesting. I still find it to be a much better than average IPA. I appreciate beers that have a few layers to them and this one definitely does. I mean... it's no Old Style, but it's still good.
p.s. I don't even like IPA's very much.
i agreee w/ hoss in that its pretty mellow for an ipa - but its still allright. its no odell's tho...but what is? except for odell's i guess.
i like IPA type of beers.
i've had one. its purdy good. talking to a local (fort collins) brewer friend of mine about getting this out on the market ... it really pushed nbb's ability with the processes they have in place. it took a long time to get it this far i guess.
modus hoperandi in my hand right now :)
Got a 6 in Cali last week. Goodness. Thought they'd have it on tap at the New Belgian place in the Denver airport and they did not. Bummer. Maybe next time.
i agree w/ MW and KW. i like beer as well.
