John Hughes, director, producer, and writer of films including Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, National Lampoon's Vacation, Weird Science, Pretty In Pink, and Uncle Buck, died yesterday of a heart attack. He was 59.

Man, that's sucky. Loved his movies. Weird science is one of my all time favorites.
First MJ, now John Hughes.....My childhood ikons are disappearing at a frightening rate.
